Le genre du disco polo est très populaire en Pologne ainsi qu’en Hongrie entre autres. Il y a des artistes en solo (féminines comme masculins) qui ont assis leur réputation dans ce genre et continuent de sortir des albums qui trouvent toujours leur public. En France le genre est très méconnu. En voici un exemple avec le groupe hongrois Cairo avec leurs titres Fordult a kocka et Ki vigyáz majd rád?, évidemment chantés en hongrois (le disco polo a bien plus de valeur quand il est chanté dans la langue maternelle). Personnellement ça me rappelle l’eurodance de mon adolescence et j’adore ça.
